Community guidelines
As a start-up wiki, we are together building the guidelines for adding and editing content. Some starter content has been posted by Vancity, but like anything on a wiki, is open to editing and change. Here are some suggestions for how to build this site together:
- If you are adding original content, please look through all the pages first, to get a sense of what content goes where.
- If you are editing content, please be respectful of the original contribution, and work to improve it.
- If you are disagreeing with content, please add your contribution as a separate piece, instead of changing the piece with which you disagree. Healthy discussion on this wiki is encouraged.
- Please avoid language which is harmful, defamatory or disrespectful; offensive contributions will be edited or deleted.
- Don't spam your fellow community members.
- We want this to be a community where you don't have to deal with personal attacks, hate speech, sexually explicit content, defamatory speech or threats. If you find that kind of offensive content on microfinance.ca, please let us know.
- Participation on microfinance.ca should aim to encourage participation and conversation. That means no flaming and no personal attacks.
